Cochran is a Safety Engineer with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)\, serving in the Atlanta-East Area Office within the Atlanta Region. \nShe has more than a decade of federal service and extensive experience conducting workplace inspections\, investigating serious incidents\, evaluating compliance with federal safety and health standards\, and recommending corrective actions. \nHer professional experience includes regulatory enforcement\, incident and root-cause analysis\, process safety management\, employee hazard-exposure assessment\, complaint evaluation\, and employer outreach. She is committed to OSHA’s mission of helping employers and employees recognize workplace hazards\, strengthen safety programs\, and prevent work-related injuries\, illnesses\, and fatalities. \nMs. Cochran holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering Technology and an Associate of Applied Science in Legal Assistant/Paralegal Studies. Her engineering\, regulatory\, and legal background gives her a broad perspective on workplace safety\, compliance\, and the practical application of OSHA standards.
