DESCRIPTION:The Order of the Engineer Ceremony is a meaningful tradition that invites engineers to publicly affirm their commitment to the ethical and professional responsibilities of the engineering profession. \nMembership in the Order is voluntary and is open to graduates of ABET-accredited engineering programs\, eligible engineering seniors nearing graduation\, registered professional engineers\, members of the Canadian Calling through reciprocity\, and other engineers whose education\, experience\, or professional distinction qualifies them for membership. \nDuring the ceremony\, participants will take the Obligation of the Engineer and receive an Order of the Engineer ring and certificate as symbols of their commitment to integrity\, service\, and responsibility in engineering. \nDate: November 19\nTime: 9:00 a.m.\nLocation: Georgia Southern University \nA one-time participation fee of $20 covers the cost of the participant’s ring and certificate.
