2023 Results

Georgia’s state MATHCOUNTS competition was held on March 13, 2023.  169 mathletes from 55 schools competed. Congratulations to our top 4 students who will represent Georgia at the national MATHCOUNTS competition!

• 1st: Varun Gadi from Fulton Science Academy
• 2nd: Zizhan Wang from River Trail Middle School
• 3rd: Akshaj Arora from River Trail Middle School
• 4th: Jerry Yu from Lakeside Middle School

Sema Duzyol, coach of Fulton Science Academy, will be the coach of Georgia’s team going to national. The national MATHCOUNTS competition will be May 13th-16th at Disney World in Orlando, FL.
