Georgia Conservancy and the Center for Spatial Planning and Visualization (CSPAV) at Georgia Tech undertook an unprecedented historical land cover analysis for the state. This presentation shares the findings of almost five decades (1974-2018) of a shifting landscape, including the types, rates, and trends of that change. Find out how our past shaped our present, and what it might mean for the future of our state, economically and ecologically.
