Tim Echols will speak on “Georgia’s Energy Future”. In this presentation, veteran energy regulator and vice chair of the Georgia Public Service Commission, Tim talks about Georgia’s energy future, and the tremendous load growth ahead of Georgia over the next seven years. Brought about by mostly data centers, bitcoin mining, and manufacturers, Mr. Echols will talk about the options the commission is looking at in order to meet this need. He’ll discuss Plant Vogtle, solar, batteries, biomass and possibly hydrogen for future use.
