The Georgia Society of Professional Engineers (GSPE) is the state affiliate of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and serves as the premier organization advancing the engineering profession in Georgia.
As nonprofit membership organizations, both GSPE and NSPE bring together licensed professional engineers and aspiring PEs across all engineering disciplines and career paths. Their shared mission is to uphold the highest standards of ethical and competent engineering practice, advocate for licensure, elevate the public image of the profession, and ensure engineers are equipped to protect public health, safety, and welfare.

What GSPE does for YOU in Georgia:
- Provides Professional Development and networking opportunities including the PDH Day in the Fall, and local chapter meetings.
- Sponsors Georgia Engineers Week activities.
- Hosts a Professional Engineer Recognition Reception/Order of the Engineer Ceremony for newly licensed engineers
- Recognizes and honors engineers who make exceptional contributions to the profession (e.g., Engineer of the Year)
- Lobbies at the State Capital, and makes recommendations to the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers.
- Conducts the annual Georgia MATHCOUNTS competitions (chapters and state)
