Contracts are the backbone of risk management for any business. Engineers face special challenges in contracting due to the heightened standard of care associated with professional design activities. This training will include background on contract formation, contract methods, most commonly negotiated terms in engineering agreements, and practical resolution techniques.

About Eve
Eve Errickson is currently General Counsel at Pond and Company, Inc. Her duties include advising Executive Leadership, pillar leaders and Pond staff on emerging ethical, business and legal issues arising in Pond’s operations, investigations of potential claims, and dispute resolution. She has years of experience providing legal advice to clients in the public and private sector including the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Smithsonian Institution. Past notable projects include the Revitalization of the National Air and Space Museum (initial award of $536M) and the acquisition of Capital Gallery ($254M).
Eve is active in publishing in the areas of public contracting and cultural heritage protection. She is a member of the International Committee on Monuments and Sites and represents the U.S. in the ICOMOS scientific subcommittee with responsibility for legal issues (ICLAFI).Eve earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati and Master of Science in American Studies and Historic Preservation from the George Washington University in Washington, DC.
