Established in 1962 by amendment to the Georgia Constitution, the Rome-Floyd County Development Authority includes seven members:
Mayor of Rome
Chairman of the Floyd County Board of Commissioners
Chairman of the Rome-Floyd Chamber of Commerce
Chairman of the Greater Rome Existing Industrial Association
Additional appointed members
RFCDA’s mission is to assist, promote, establish, and develop new industries and to expand existing industry, agriculture, trade, and commerce within Floyd County.
