The Air Force is organized to achieve success for acquiring, supporting, and maintaining essential aircraft and ground-based systems.
Maintenance (MX) – Each Air Logistics Center has an extensive Depot Repair capability that requires engineers for facilities, equipment and processes. These engineers support the repair of both new state-of-the-art systems and technology as well as legacy technologies used on aging Weapon Systems. These engineers define and implement facility requirements, resolve technical issues for existing manufacturing and repair equipment, acquire new equipment, and provide detailed “Process Orders” to meet repair requirements.
