Call for Speakers: Georgia Society of Professional Engineers Professional Development Hours Day
The Georgia Society of Professional Engineers (GSPE) invites experienced and knowledgeable professionals, students, and researchers to join us as presenters for our upcoming Professional Development Hours Day. This event is designed to provide valuable educational content to professional engineers in Georgia, and we are seeking engaging and informative speakers to deliver one-hour sessions.
Date: Friday, December 1st, 2023
Location: Georgia Tech Campus
As a token of our appreciation, selected presenters will have complimentary access to the full day of educational sessions, providing an opportunity to network with fellow professionals and gain knowledge from other experts in the field. You will also be featured in Engineering Georgia magazine and on social media.
Submission Guidelines:
If you are interested in becoming a speaker for GSPE\’s Professional Learning Day, please submit your proposal by October 27 to amanda@gspe.org. Proposals should include the following information:
- Presenter Information:
- Name
- Title
- Company/Affiliation
- Contact Information (Email, Phone)
- Session Title: A descriptive and engaging title for your presentation.
- Session Description: A brief overview of your proposed session, including its objectives and the key takeaways for attendees.
- Target Audience: Describe the level of expertise or experience your session is designed for (e.g., beginner, intermediate, advanced).
- Speaker Biography: A brief bio highlighting your qualifications, experience, and expertise in the subject matter.
Submission Deadline: October 27, 2023
Selection Process: All proposals will be carefully reviewed by the GSPE committee, and speakers will be selected based on the relevance, quality, and educational value of their proposed sessions. Selected speakers will be notified by November 3, 2023. All submitters, regardless of acceptance, will receive a discount on their PDH Day registration.
