September 13 @ 6:30PM | Optoelectronic Semiconductors with GSPE Cobb Chapter

Join us for the GSPE Cobb Chapter Meeting this September 13th featuring Dr. T Detchprohm, Senior Research Engineer, from Georgia Tech.

Detchprohm will present on Optoelectronic Semiconductors. Theeradetch Detchprohm received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and electronics engineering from Nagoya University, Japan, in 1991, 1993, and 1996, respectively.,He joined the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2013 and became a Senior Research Engineer in 2018. He has been involved in III-N semiconductor research for optoelectronic and power electronic applications since 1991. His research interests include metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) based epitaxial semiconductor material research and device development for III-AsPSb and III-N based optoelectronic device applications covering mid IR, visible, and deep UV wavelengths.(Based on document published on 14 April 2023).

The next meeting will be on Wednesday, September  13 at the South Campus of the KSU Engineering Technology Center  Room  Q – 221 at  6:30 PM.  We’ll have a social meeting from 6:30 to 7:00 with the presentation to start promptly at 7 PM.   There will be free parking in the deck just outside of Building Q. 

Our meetings are generally scheduled the 2nd Wednesday of each month from September to May.
