John McFarland, PE is a Sales Engineer for Vulcraft/Nucor as well as the chair of the Publicity Committee for the Structural Engineers Association of Georgia (SEAOG). He graduated from Georgia Tech with a BS in Civil Engineering and a BS in Science, Technology, and Culture. He has been a practicing structural engineer for almost 20 years, working in commercial nuclear, multi-family, and industrial sectors among others. He is also the 2024 Big of the Year for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta.
