The Georgia Society of Professional Engineers (GSPE) is offering a limited number of $125 grants to help engineering students offset the cost of taking the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
The FE exam is an important early step toward professional licensure. GSPE encourages students to take the exam while coursework is still fresh and to keep future career options open.
Even for those beginning their careers in industry, passing the FE exam and earning the Engineer Intern (EI) designation provides a valuable credential that can expand long-term career opportunities.

Who Can Apply
Applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program, or a recent graduate
- Be a GSPE Member (free for students and discounted for recent graduates)
- Provide proof of FE exam completion to receive the grant
How It Works
Selected students will receive a $125 grant to help offset the cost of the FE exam upon submission of proof of exam completion.
Students who complete the exam may also be recognized by GSPE through social media and member communications.
