Join the Atlanta Metro Chapter of the Georgia Society of Professional Engineers (GSPE) for a practitioner-focused session featuring Damon Nix, senior leader with the Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership (GaMEP) at Georgia Institute of Technology.
This session will draw on Damonβs extensive experience supporting manufacturers across Georgia, with a focus on real-world challenges, practical improvement efforts, and lessons learned from working directly with industrial organizations.

About the Speaker
Damon Nix brings more than 20 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing performance improvement, and safety leadership. He currently serves as Group Manager for Energy & Sustainability Services and Manager of New Program Development at GaMEP. Throughout his career, he has led high-impact programs designed to strengthen operations, reduce risk, and improve long-term competitiveness for manufacturers across the state.
About the Meeting
GSPE Atlanta Metro meetings are open to professional engineers, aspiring PEs, students, and members of the public. Meetings begin with face-to-face networking at 6:00 PM, followed by dinner and the presentation. This session qualifies for one Professional Development Hour (PDH).
